Mellisa from Texas (Home of the racist, phsycotic, self obsessed, power hungry George "Dubya" Bush)

You mentioned the U.S. government has shelters and soup kitchens. It's the bloody government that made these people homeless by creating a debt ridden society. So many people starving around the world could all be fed if the U.S. stopped charing them interest on the loans (aid relief) they keep giving them. If you fatass AmeriKKKan's spent you money on charity instead of gambling (LAS VEGAS, National Lottery) then there would be no need for soup kitchens and shelters.

Islam is the only religion that ensures charity and prevents homelessnes and poverty. Muslims are obliged to give 2.5% of their total wealth to charity anually. Muslims are obliged to provide food/clothing/accomodation for the poor during the Holy month of Ramadan and a sacrifice in the name of Allah for the poor after every Hajj annually. Islam forbids interest, gambling, corrupt capitalist democracies!!!!

So you go and hand out a blanket at a shelter once during you life and gamble your money and pay interest for the remainder. All Muslims continuousely throughout the year give charity big or small.

Save you lectures for Bill Gates, Jacob Rockafella, The World Bank, The International monetary fund, Illuminati's and Freemasons alike who could all wipe out world debt, poverty and homelessness but won't!!!!!!

Peace [edit]

Dearie, Hollywierd is one thing.
Yes, there have been movies made.
I was mainly speaking of the "MSM", ABC, NBC, CBS. Cable is a whole different matter.
Oddly enough, the three major players, with the exception of the 9-11 anniversary (such an odd way to state it) seldom show anything related to it, unless forced to, ie: movie reviews, etc.
How do these ads make American policies look bad? Because there is hunger all over the world? Because people have AIDS, again all over the world? Because poverty is something that affects so very many? Disease, famine and poverty are not new afflictions. They have been around since time began. They are issues that are dealt with (or not) globally. Hence the shelters, food kitchens, government programs that assist people that cannot help themselves.
Have you ever volunteered in a soup kitchen, or given blankets to the homeless, donated your money and your time to help someone who's home needed repair or sat and spoke to a homebound elderly person, just to keep them company for a while, donate to the Red Cross to assist hurricane victims and their families?

If these ads would do one thing, to open the eyes of the "me" generation and make them extend a hand to someone that needs it, then perhaps I am wrong.
To use these images gratuitously though, just does not seem right.

Safety? There are movies about 9/11 and the replay it over and over ever so often on many News Channels when they want to talk about Islam and 9/11.

Are you kidding me? With all due respect, please watch TV. I have seen the towers falling down as far as 2006. I haven't seen it yet in 2007.

I am making fun of this. It's so hypocritcal that when 9/11 is shown in a tottaly different context that makes American policies look bad they ban it.

So much for freedom of speech?

And was I the only one that heard about the movies in the theters about 9/11?

They will not allow these type of ads for the same reason they hesitate to show the images of that day.
This is a reminder that pisses the rank and file Americans off!
They do it for the safety of our muslim “brothers and sisters”.
I find it odd that you make fun of the political correctness of our country, yet scream and cry like babies throwing tantrums when someone supposedly defiles the quran.
