  6. Hey!

According to, Trinidad and Tobago start Sunday.

I wish everyone a blessed Ramadhan! May Allah accept your every dua.

  7. I started Saturday based on global (Ittehadul Mat’ali) sighting, though local (Ikhtilaful Mat’ali) is also doable since Dallas had 4 witnesses. I went by Yemen though, Saudi’s hipper, Fus-ha brother.

  8. Salams and ramadaan mubarak!

Islam Channel in the UK announced that 1st Ramadaan was on Saturday, but as always there’s been some confusion from borough to borough…

  9. In Denmark majority started Saturday 23rd. And now it’s being told that the moon couldn’t possibly have been seen on friday. I’m so confused myself…

Read this article: (it’s in English as well as Danish) – it’s pretty convincing, so I’m too confused.

  10. BismillahiRahmaniRaheem

Alhamdulillah, Shaykh Nazim’s mureeds also fasted Saturday. Though we are firm believers that it is not the day that matters as much as the niyyat.

Ramadhaan Mubarak! We started here in sunny South Africa on Sunday. Alhamdolilah, this time the whole of southern Africa started on the same day. Make lots of duah for unity in the ummah

  14. In the UK, we’re not so united. I think most mosques started tarawih on Friday and fasting on Saturday following Saudi Arabia but some started fasting on Sunday, following Morocco. And I heard at least one mosque started on Monday.
