Very supportive of Sufism (don't freak out, I'm talking the real sufis, not the ones that started changing the rules). It may help all of us to think about how and why the sufis came about. After the age of Ta'leem and ta'allum, Muslims had all this knowledge but had begun to lose their relationship/closeness with Allah (subhana-wa-ta'ala). And so this group of people arose to 'REVIVE' (read: NOT 'Begin Anew') the effort for people to REdevelop their relationship with The Creator. The Sahaba (RA) did this as part of their daily lives, and didn't require this extraneous effort (an effect of the cause of decreasing emaan Ummah-wide). I'm not saying all of us now need to go out and start sitting under trees for 5 hrs a day reciting some dhikr 20,000 daily, but its good to keep in mind that there are people dedicated to sincerely developing a closeness to Allah (SWT).
