Subhanallah! Ya Allah
Allaaaaahu Akbar…..
If you haven’t yet listened to Imam Anwar Al Awlaki’s series of lectures entitled “The Hereafter” , you really need to go listen to it, you really owe it to yourself to listen to this detailed account of the afterlife. If it’s been a while since you last listened to it, it’s a good idea to go listen to it again. May Allah subhana wa ta aala save Imam Awlaki from the awful torture he is now enduring, may Allah have mercy on him and admit him to gardens of paradise, may Allah save us from the hellfire and guide us all to jannah, ameen.
Ameen
Subhanallah bro, I visit your blog regulary but this post has made me comment. May Allah aza wa jal shower us with His Infinite Mercy and May He always keep us in the company of Our Beloved Rasul salallahualaihiwasalam.
Ameen to Stranger’s duas. May Allah aza wa jal protect all of our brothers and sisters who are in need or are suffering.
Once again, thank you for helping us to remember what is important. In light of the selection all else seems trivial…Subana Allah
Jazaki Allahu Khayran for sharing this product with us. I just don’t feel right about people using the way of reading Quran in saying normal (Non-Quranic) sentences. It is as if these people are trying to give their own words more holy touch. even if it is Hadeeth, I think it will be better not to confuse people between what is “Quran” and what is “human” wordings. Just a feeling especially that this trend in “tarteel” human speeches is new.
I believe this is the best most beneficial, most beautiful post you’ve EVER posted. Jazak Allah alf Khair. may Allah gather us all into jannat al-firdous and make us amongst those who see HIS face twice a day. ameen.
Sister Fatima, there is really nothing wrong with it. that is what nasheed is even.. nasheeds are poems recited with words promoting the rememberance of Allah.. and even the Arabs during the time of the prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam, Poetry as we all know was very popular then, and they sometimes would recite their poetry..
wallahu ta’ala alem.
again jazak Allah khair for the post
wow, it made me think, i shudn sell weed, i shud jus lay back and wait for namaaz
you know, i think it’s sad when after listening to something like that.. someone can post a comment like that..
When are we going to stop trying to “act cool” and stop joking around and start being mindful of Allah and be serious about our deen?
La howla wala qowwita illah billah.
Sr.Fatima, this was written by Ibn-Qayyim, one of the greatest scholars this ummah has ever produced so im sure he knew what he was doing. in addition, he is put Quranic ayahs togather to gave us this picture.
I think the meaning is Quranic and the rendition bida’a hasan.
I love you all for the sake of Allah, especially those who so respectfully gave me advise. May Allah make the Muslims united and strong. May He guide us all to Wajhil Kareem-the sight of His unconditional love for us. Ameen.
There is no such thing as a good bidah in the religion of Allah.(as the prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam said: kol bidda3tin fil narr- Every biddah-innovation in this deen- is in Hellfire) However, we should inshaAllah give proofs of what we say inshaAllah rather than just produce our own fatawah with no knowledge. wallahu alem. I’m not trying to be harsh or anything.. however, its just something we all need to be aware of.
ameen to your dua sr. fatima, thummah ameen.
8 more days until RIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sis, you are wrong, there is such a thing as Bida’h Hassanah in Islam, the Ulema who KNOW the hadith methdology BETTER than us, know exactly what they are saying, and it is a known fact that the ulema of alha sunnah wa jam’a believe.
Please read this detailed answer given by most respected Sheikh Nuh

Salafi opinion:
Sufi Opinion:
who gives a damn if its good biddah or bad biddah or even if it is a biddah at all. lets look at the bigger picture: getting to jannah. don’t lose focus.
everyone wants an A in a class. some ppl go to class and take notes and study the notes. some ppl go to class and study the notes the day before the exam. some ppl don’t go to class, but study all night before the exam.
they all get A’s.
who’s right? i dont know and i dont care, cuz i got an A, right?
A = jannah
that’s the bigger picture yes, alhamdulillah. however, Once the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam drew a line on the ground and made many others lines on its left and right and recited: “And verily, this is My straight path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path…” r. Nuh Ha Meem Keller would not be a scholar, n(Qur’an: Translation of the meaning, 6:153)
so using your anaolgy:
You cant be certain to make an A in Biology if you study the material in your bio-chemistry class. Although some of the material may be the same, there are also differences. and relying on that material may or may not cut the grade
damn that was good..
Bint Muhammad, I personally dont chose to get my information or fatawah from Nuh Ha Meem Keller. as you said, “the Ulema who KNOW the hadith methdology BETTER than us.”
and He is not a scholar. We obviously have different views so there is no use in going back and forth.. however, like br. Amir said, there is the ahl as-sunnah wa jama3ah view- which he calls the “salafi view”, and the sufi view.
anyway wallahi we’ve had enough discussions about this type of stuff in like all your other posts… subhanallah the video is something else… may Allah subhana wa ta’ala guide us on His straight path so that we may attain such a reward. ameen.
huh dude, i didnt notice how it messed up above after my quote.. oops.. man you need an edit button.
have u ever seen a blog with that option, hahaha, even facebook doesn’t have that
btw, sufis and salafis are ahlus sunnah wal jammah, and shakyh nuh is a scholar to millions of Muslims.
lets be straight up, stop using these fancy shamncy words, because everyone, i mean everyone claims to be ahlus sunnah, even freakin barevlis, shaykh nuh is sufi, ur salafi, u dont like sufi views.
that’s all u gotta say man. only Allah knows which way will be successful, just like only the final grade of the exam will show which way to study is the best way.
ur biology and bio chemistry analogy didn’t make sense to me. i think u were hinting at the differences between salafis and sufis.
btw shaykh yasir birjas said “look at shaykh hamza yusufs lectures on aqeedah” at the usul al fiqh class in durbah
yeah, i know, i was shocked too.

thats why i said i SHUDNT sell weed
are you sure shaykh said that?i didnt hear about it
Nice blog you got here MR. I set up a blog today aswell: http://bambino.wordpress.com/
According to Sheik Muhammad al Shareef, he said there is no such thing as bidah hassan in his History of the Khulafaa’ class.
I prefer to follow the opinion of majority of the ulema, besides, I wanna leave it to this, one can only understand, when they have studied this kinda knowledge.
peace out
luv ya all for the sake of Allah

this is sad…even when a deep, beautiful post like this is posted…we Muslims cannot help but get into debates about matters of fiqh, etc…may Allah help us to keep our eyes on the prize (jannah, insha-Allah)
SubhanAllah..that gave me a reality check to try my hardest not to sin. This def made me remember my accountability and meeting with Allah..JazakAllah Khair for these reminders.
Here is the words in English & Arabic:
Ibn al-Qayyim said, in regards to the description of the Paradise and the delights that it contains:
…………………..
And if you ask about the Day of Increase (in reward) and the visit of the all-Mighty, all-Wise, and the sight of His Face – free from any resemblance or likeness to anything – as you see the Sun in the middle of the day and the full Moon on a cloudless night, then listen on the day that the caller will call: ‘O People of Paradise! Your Lord – Blessed and Exalted – requests you to visit Him, so come to visit Him!’ So they will say: ‘We hear and obey!’
Until, when they finally reach the wide valley where they will all meet – and none of them will turn down the request of the caller – the Lord – Blessed and Exalted – will order His Chair to be brought there. Then, pulpits of light will emerge, as well as pulpits of pearls, gemstone, gold, and silver. The lowest of them in rank will sit on sheets of musk, and will not see what those who are on the chairs above them are given. When they are comfortable where they are sitting and are secure in their places, and the caller calls: ‘O People of Paradise! You have an appointment with Allaah in which He wishes to reward you!’ So they will say: ‘And what is that reward? Has He not already made our faces bright, made our scales heavy, entered us into Paradise, and pushed us away from the Fire?’
And when they are like that, all of a sudden a light shines that encompasses all of Paradise. So, they raise their heads, and, behold: the Compeller – Exalted is He, and Holy are His Names – has come to them from above them and majestified them and said: ‘O People of Paradise! Peace be upon you!’ So, this greeting will not be responded to with anything better than: ‘O Allaah! You are Peace, and from You is Peace! Blessed are You, O possessor of Majesty and Honor!’ So the Lord – Blessed and Exalted – will laugh to them and say: ‘O People of Paradise! Where are those who used to obey Me without having ever seen Me? This is the Day of Increase!’
So, they will all give the same response: ‘We are pleased, so be pleased with us!’ So, He will say: ‘O People of Paradise! If I were not pleased with you, I would not have made you inhabitants of My Paradise! So, ask of Me!’ So, they will all give the same response: ‘Show us your Face so that we may look at it!’ So, the Lord – Mighty and Majestic – will remove his covering and will majestify them and will cover them with His Light, which, if Allaah – the Exalted – had not Willed not to burn them, would have burned them.
And there will not remain a single person in this gathering except that his Lord – the Exalted – will speak to him and say: ‘Do you remember the day that you did this and that?’ and He will remind him of some of his bad deeds in the Worldy life, so he will say: ‘O Lord! Will you not forgive me?’ So, He will say: ‘Of course! You have not reached this position of yours (in Paradise) except by my forgiveness.’
So, how sweet is this speech to the ears, and how cooled are the righteous eyes by the glance at His Noble Face in the Afterlife…
{Some faces that Day will be shining and radiant, l ooking at their Lord…} (al-Qiyaamah:22-3)

( الجØيم والنعيم ) للشيخ : ( عبد الله ØÙ…اد الرسي )
is there any way some one can get the transliteration ?? please reply at my website http://www.zikr.piczo.com thankyou!
ya ikhwaa, the reason those words are so beautiful is because they are the words of the Prophet (saw) Ibn Qiyyum was quoting from a hadith, this meeting is described in a hadith of the prophet (saw).
If you read in Bukhari, Umar Radiyallaho Anh established the congrerational Tarawih prayer after the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Salam, he himself described it as a bidah, but he said “ni’mah biddah” insha Allah i’ll post the hadith number in my next comment as i am in college at the moment.
Assalamu Alaykum
hi all.
