MR gone to RIS 2006

InshaAllah, MR along with Contemplating Chishti and Journey of a Traveler will be attending the 2006 Reviving the Islamic Spirit Conference and Retreat in Toronto aka t dot, Canada. We will be in the presence of ‘ulema like Shaykh Abdullah bin Bayyah, Habib Ali, Shaykh Hamza, Imam Zaid, and others. Outlandish, A‘ashiq-al-Rasul and this Egyptian guy Ehab Tawfiq (don’t really know him, but supposedly he’s popular) will also be there to entertain the youngin’s and families.
Yes, I will take notes, pictures and videos. Everything, inshaAllah, will be up on the site.

But — MashAllah — He will be performing Hajj instead!
Yeh, unfortunately Shaykh Habib Ali will not be there, but atleast one of his students from the US will be teaching: Ustad Yahya Rhodus. Look our for him!

SubhanAllah brother, did you find it as disappointing as I did? Many of the notable scholars were not able to attend and the actions of the sisters during the Outlandish concert were much less than ‘modest’ if I might say … :\
