I think the best thing for Muslims is to STOP USING THE INTERNET COMPLETELY. There is too much pornography and bad images. Even when you log into you yahoo, hotmail, etc, you will see pictuers of women or men you are not allowed to, even though its not pornography. You are ruining your health by sitting down all day and becoming a fat lazy bum. And you are obviously wasting your time reading and responding to blogs, instead of gaining rewards for your afterlife and doing something truly good.

As for the people who are browsing the web for the truth, and trying to gain knowledge - It is very difficult to do so online. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, but please try and connect with a righteous person to seek knowledge.

It is simple, our Prophet (PBUH) only had one example, not the Islam of his parents, his Pirs, his Sheikh or Wali just the true Islam of Allah (SWT) and the Quran and that is all we need. As far as Bilal Philips is concerned, he is WITHOUT A DOUBT ascribing to the salifeeyah. He has declared in NO uncertain terms and agrees with me in saying that it is the "ONLY WAY" Many so-called salafis so alot of harsh things about Br. Bilal but I have yet to see any proof, rather just alot of Ghayba (backbiting) May Allah azza wa Jall guide us and protect us from bid'ah , backbiting and shirk in ALL there forms. Oh, and Yasir Qadhi, I do not know enough about him to make an accurate statement regarding his mihaj but as far as I know, he is salafi also. Allahu Alim Jazakum Allahu Khairun for you time. Some of these comments here are honestly very sad. There are Muslims all over the world being killed like cattle every day, and there are some here making terrible fitna...WAllahi I dont know if some of those making comments here are just trying to argue and start fitna instead of actually discussing the truth...Heres some advice, for myself first and then for everyone else here...Dont talk about things which you have no knowledge of. How can someone completely discredit an Islamic university that theyve never even seen. If there was a suspected murderer from your city, could I then go and claim that every1 in your city was a murderer...and imagine if that suspected murderer was actually innocent. If a particular shaykh says something, see why he has said what he has said and do it with an open mind. These shuyukh have dedicated their lives to studying Islam and someone who has never done that in their life has the right to attack and condemn them....Au'thoo billah...Come on, have some manners at least. Find out why a sheikh says what he says. Find out why ibn Al-Arabi was condemned (Ill give you a hint, maybe because he said that everything was Allah so it didnt matter if u made sajdah to a tree), and yes, u can verify that. You may ask, how do we know if the sheikh is right or not...Thats where the beauty of Islam is, because all you have to do is check back with the Quran and sunnah when ur ever in doubt. Read a book on aqeedah; try any book by ibn taiymiyyah...or better yet, take a class on aqeedah with a learned person...This way, once you have knowledge of your own aqeedah u will be able to follow the truth where u see it and stay away from falsehood where it is present, regardless of what sheikh it comes from...May Allah (swt) guide us all and unite us on the truth inshAllah...WAllahu Ta'ala A'lam (and Allah (swt) knows best) SubhanAllah…May Allah (swt) guide us all to the straight path. There are Muslims all over the world being killed like cattle every day, and there are some here making terrible fitna…WAllahi I dont know if some of those making comments here are just trying to argue and start fitna instead of actually discussing the truth…Heres some advice, for myself first and then for everyone else here…Dont talk about things which you have no knowledge of. How can someone completely discredit an Islamic university that theyve never even seen. If there was a suspected murderer from your city, could I then go and claim that every1 in your city was a murderer…and imagine if that suspected murderer was actually innocent. If a particular shaykh says something, see why he has said what he has said and do it with an open mind. These shuyukh have dedicated their lives to studying Islam and someone who has never done that in their life has the right to attack and condemn them….Au’thoo billah…Come on, have some manners at least. Find out why a sheikh says what he says. Find out why ibn Al-Arabi was condemned (Ill give you a hint, maybe because he said that everything was Allah so it didnt matter if u made sajdah to a tree), and yes, u can verify that. You may ask, how do we know if the sheikh is right or not…Thats where the beauty of Islam is, because all you have to do is check back with the Quran and sunnah when ur ever in doubt. Read a book on aqeedah; try any book by ibn taiymiyyah…or better yet, take a class on aqeedah with a learned person…This way, once you have knowledge of your own aqeedah u will be able to follow the truth where u see it and stay away from falsehood where it is present, regardless of what sheikh it comes from…May Allah (swt) guide us all and unite us on the truth inshAllah…WAllahu Ta’ala A’lam (and Allah (swt) knows best)
