When both sides think they are justified in their attack against the other party, loss of life on one side is Not mourned by the other side. The intent is to insult, degrade, hurt and kill. Not Mourn.

I’m sure their are Americans who mourn loss of innocent life. Mourning the loss of innocent civilians for the other side is easy and effortless. It is also used for good PR.

Since the US started an Illegal War with Iraq, it has become extremely dangerous place for innocent people to live in. It’s population of 26 million has been terrorized. It’s country is in utter chaos. Their natural resources have been stolen. Hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians have been murdered and more continue to die each day.

When Bush and Cheney say they mourn the loss of innocent life in Iraq, then kick back and count their millions of dollars they made in Iraq, call me crazy but I understand why
“they” hate America and how U.S. Media uses
“their” emotions to sell to the American public that “they” are radical evil terroists bent on destroying us. FOX News wins the emmy on this.

Some Americans can see through the false Media campaign especially those Americans that have been persected by America. Usually these Americans are given different labels in their own country like “African Americans”. I would think most African Americans understand it because they have been persecuted by white America for hundreds of years because of their race.

Polls maybe skewed, but Historical Facts are not.

I’m always skeptical of polls, because questions can be skewed to get any end result you want. Your quote “bombing and other attacks intentionally aimed at civilians”. I highly doubt that high number of Americans approve of “intentional” bombing of civilians. Accidental killing of civilians is terrible and most Americans I know are against that. But no matter how careful and precision the strike is, an innocent can always get in the way. We mourn each lost innocent life.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki were terrible events, but the Americans felt there was no other way to stop the war and stop the killing. Sometimes it is a choice of the lesser evil. Unfortunately.

don’t want to sound like the devils advocate .. but i’m always a bit skeptical on accepting surveys and/or polls from muslim countries. who knows how these polls were taken, how they were counted, etc…
