This is not from the internet nor from a lecture. This is from my father who was reading Sahih Bukhari and showed this to me straight from the book. It’s the 1979 USA edition. Old school! 😀
Anyways here is the hadith:
Narrated Abu Huraira (ra): Allah’s Apostle (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Whoever says, ‘Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi,’ one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea.”
Sahih Bukhari, Volume VIII (8), Chapter 67, Hadith 414, Page 227 of the old school 1979 edition.
It takes about 1 to 2 minutes to do this. My advice to do this would be while your getting dress for work or school. It’s pretty easy. You could be making up your bed, changing your clothes, or turning on the computer and drop the 100 subhanAllah wa bihamdihi’s.
What does SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi mean?
I deem Allah free of any resemblance to anything whatsoever in any respect, and I celebrate His Praises (this was taken from the footnote of the bottom of the page in Sahih Bukhari).
