Its all PR, the real face of Sunni Islam was the Taliban and you all know it. You guys say its Islamic, most of the world believe its pre-medieval. After all when did the prophet and his companions set up the 1st Muslim community which you guys believe is the last. You guessed it, 1450 years ago.

A dilemma for you isn’t it? You can’t apply the same legal and political structure of the 1st Madina community 1450 years ago since the social and economical and political structure has changed so much, but at the same time you can not accept the modern legal and political framework since it goes against your understanding of what a Muslim state should be like. At a time when many of you are demanding your freedoms and rights in America, how are you going to explain these Sunni view points that do not afford others those rights you demand? Limbo mania!

The solution is to return to the Quran and abandon the Abbasid Ahl Ul Sunna fiqh. It was made for the Abbasid to govern and legitimize itself, and often contradicts the Quran yet it claims the prophet Muhammad as its spokesman! Of course its easy to use the prophet as your spokesman whan he has been dead for 2 centuries, all you need to say is “he said so” and of course he is not there to say “nope, I didn’t”. Smart trick, but it can only survive around ignorance. Smart trick, but they forgot that the Quran is there. After all thats why its there, to protect the deen from hearsay and gossip and man made dogmas.

Follow the Quran and you will be safe.

Are you denying the sunnah? Are you saying we should follow the Quran only? The Quran says to follow the Prophet (saas) and the ones who know (scholars). So what do you say about that?

imam Sabur Abdul Hakim opponents should be ashamed of them self taking a brother to a kuffar court! what are muslims comming to! reminds me of similar event where an oxford so called islamic group ( liberal kuffar lovers) HELPED and FUNDED a school defeat a muslim girl in court who wanted to wear a veil in school as she said its her human rights! that money could have been better spent by sending it to pakistan or east africa!

Imam Sabur Abdul Hakim closed down an Islamic school. I think that is totally different from preventing a sister from wearing hijab.
