Yo, the video is hot! Josh, from Native Deen, previewed the DVD version of this clip on my laptop for me at ISNA. Trust me, the quality of this video is amazing! Wait till the official release, you will see what I am talking about!

Who cares if new their album drops? It would be more blessings if u sent that money to dying child instead of buying a dumb CD. May Allah help us, how low our ummah has become.

So no CDs for you. No DVDs for you. No eating out for you. Give your money to the poor instead of doing all those stupid things. In fact why are you going to school? School is stupid. Your just going to become a house wife anyway, so stop paying tuition and give all your tuition money to the poor.

All praise is to Allah Most High for giving me a wonderful life one, and two surely our life and death is for Allah Alone. Anyways everyone has an opinion so don’t get all hot and bothered if people see the world different then you okey? Thank you. Just think about it, if all the Muslims instead of buying dumb music cds, dvds, starbucks coffee, and unnecessary junk actually did somethign better with their money in the cause of Allah and helped the poor Muslims who don’t even have food to eat. Please think deeper brother/sister, I hope the name you chosen for yourself doesn’t define who you are, I am more then positive it doesn’t and your probably having a bad day. And personally why would i want to listen music, when i can listen to the beautiful Quran?

As for the Housewife comment, i plan to become a doctor inshallah for one. However what is greater then being a mom and raising your children i ask you? Please don’t think you can offend me with a housewife comment. Kudus to all the mothers who take care of their families, its not an easy job.

That’s very interesting you are strict on your stance on riba especially on seeking education, but you would like to be a doctor. The tuition for becoming a doctor is very expensive. You must be rich if you plan to do without a loan, mashaAllah!

Umm for the sister who said something about spend your money on the poor. One of the guys from native deen is a relief worker. And part of the proceed from their album Deen You Know, go to support Yusuf Islam’s charity, small kindness. So you can do good, and buy a CD.

mash-allah native deen are doin great job. and that video was wikid. as for thea person who said people should help he poor rather than buy their CDs is absent mided. of course yo should help the poor but giving dawa is cumpulsort too. ad do you know how many are reverting back to islam because of the dawa in their music and how many people muslims are starting to pratice.i no i alotof non muslim who hae muslims after going to islamic performances. and its givng the youth anislamic alternative rather all the ubbish the kafir sing. native deen are wikid, so keep up the good work brothers.

These Cd’s not only help me to do dhikr all day because my mind is on Allah in the car, but they also help my sons who practically have all the songs memorized from back in the day when they were Myna Raps to now when they are Native deen…And my kids have instilled in them being proud of being Muslim, and a love of their deen. Plus it helps me feel good when I am feeling down to think about Allah and being proud of being Muslim…
To me that’s not money wasted, that’s an investment…

Assalamu Alaikum

I was never really into “Western” hip-hop Islamic music, but Native Deen is pretty legit, Masha’Allah, and I loved this song/video (although “I am the Deen you Know” is still their most baller song for me).

Did anyone else find it slightly ironic and hilarious that most of the time when they say “I am not afraid to stand alone” all three brothers are standing together?

That’s the point,when you stand alone, Allah brings all of you together, strong and united. Most are afraid to stand alone and be strong for their deen and in the end they end up being the most lonely and alone…

U r spreading fitnah by saying all these (may be unintentionally), if u consider it as an act of worship (coz DAWAH is an act of worship) u r bringing in haram things in worshiping. may God guide us all.

Assalamu Aliqum, Well I c that Native Deen is trying their best to do some good jobs, I do not know what exactly bro/sis “Sowrd” means by mentioning “fitnah”, but my point of view is that, please do not try to make the deen hard for the people, in a time where “Fitnah “has covered the whole World.

Well some people are very good in following their deen stickly (like you -may be- and others who never listen to musics of any kind, never see movies and so on), but the new generation are finding it so hard to follow even the easy stuffs in Islam, and you can see how they are addicted to very bad stuffs like those music videos that learns no ethics, no morals but fake love and lust.

well I don’t know if we should consider Native Deen’s work as worship or not, but at least their music have some good meanings, and they are rtying to help the week muslims (and may be unbelievers also)to understand islam in better way, and may be one day they can follow the religeon more strictly InShaAllah.

My another point is, we -muslims- nowadays are facing “intellectual invasion “, and we ought to defend ourselvs and mostly our children from this kind of attack, and I think Native Deen’s work is like a Sword, to defend this dangerous attack. We simply cannot win this kind of intellectual battel by traditional weapons only, we need to be creative in they way we face them, for we also have to face them intellectually. don’t you muslims think so?

Any Way I have a lot to say, but I got to stop, hope you got my points, and very much sorry for making it too long, Thanks a lot, May Allah bless you Muslim brothers and sisters, guide us all to the right path, and may Allah unite us all.

Ummm for maryam the guy from native deen do a lot of work for those in need around the world. From their first CD a portion of the proceeds of the people WHO PURCHASED the CD, money when to Yusuf Islam’s Charity Small Kindness. And One of the brother works for a Relief and Development Group, and did work in Katrina, Indonesia for the Tsunami, and West Africa.

MarOon is right. MashaAllah some ppl are supa in their religion, bt in this day and age, give a thought to those hu find it hard,huh? U have to remind urself tht some ppl dnt hav the same controll others do. and for that, if beautiful songs are written and the pride of ur deen and the love for it can be felt, u come closer. Trust!

Anyhow it’ll be beta for us to buy Muslim’s cds since ND’s cds goes towards Yousef Islam’s charity too. And another thing…we have no right to judge how we do, wat we do and when. We can help, but cnt condemn based on ur whims.

Yeah this video is AWESOME. I bought a copy of the CD from a guy here in Charlotte at carolinahalal.com. He was cheaper than online plus I couldn’t wait to actually get the disc in my hands, lol.

I really enjoyed native deen. They are doing a very great job. The message of islam can be carried in many ways. What is very suitable to strict muslims won’t be suitable as one dose at some stages for new generation in europe and non muslims. And you know music is a matter of differenet opinions among scholars. I think , the most important thing is words while the accompanying stuff such as nudity …. etc which is totally rejected by all and is clear haram. feeding poor is not the only good deed of islam. There are many things are required specially saying (GOOD). and one can do all good jobs in his life ……………. so let’s not be rigid in forcing all to do exactly what we do especially if it is in the circle of (Mubah) allowed.
