The US Military is desperate for “new” soldiers!

A 50-year-old man has been drafted to go in Iraq. According to his nephew or niece, he receives a stipend from the US Army making him part of the “ready reserve”. Not to sure what that is, but when the US is drafting elderly men that can only mean they are desperate for more soldiers. Which could mean they are not doing so well in Iraq.

Majority of parents in america that kill their own children happen to be of christian and non-religious background. but blame christianity and secularism? actually… we might have an arguement against christianity, take a look:
“If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers… Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: But thou shalt surely KILL HIM; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him TO DEATH, and afterwards the hand of all the people.” -Deuteronomy 13: 6-9
On the other hand, the secular humanist liberals (those who shun religion/faith) would rather kill their own children and especially females (specifically in china) even before it comes out of his/her mothers womb; ABORTION.
Back to the topic, when i was in the navy, I saw 45 year old recruits. They were somewhat fit and motivated, but i know they wouldnt last very long.
Younger americans know that the war is a farce, and the older generation… such as the middle aged americans, have the old mentality of MIGHT AND WHITE MAKES RIGHT; which constitutes the republican/neoconservative base.

We’ve been hearing that they’re “turning the corner” and “mission accomplished” since six months in, and nothing. Some people are saying more people should join up, ease the burden on the troops there who are serving out longer terms under worse conditions than was expected; well, forget that. I was against it from the beginning, I’m against it now, and no way I’m joining up. I want to bring the troops HOME, then it wouldn’t be an issue.
May God curse every American soldier and make them suffer before they get killed.
Having military experience myself, let me comment on this.
First, Ready Reserve is someone who is Reserved but should become ready to become active to go to war. Reserves dont go to war. to go to war you have to become Active duty.
Second, a Draft hasn’t been declared, so there is some kind of misinformation. There is no way that this man could have been drafted.
What could have happened is that this man was in the military before and then went from active duty to reserve, but never actually quit the military, even at the age of 50. Then the military told him to get ready, aka “ready reserve”, because being active might be imminent.
I hope that clears things up.
