Alhamdulillah! Finally a professional research done throughout the Muslim World regarding 9/11 and terrorism.
About 93 percent of the world’s 1.3 billion Muslims are moderates and only seven percent are politically radical, according to the poll, based on more than 50,000 interviews.
In majority Muslim countries, overwhelming majorities said religion was a very important part of their lives — 99 percent in Indonesia, 98 percent in Egypt, 95 percent in Pakistan.
But only seven percent of the billion Muslims surveyed — the radicals — condoned the attacks on the United States in 2001, the poll showed.

Here is a really good documentary by Shaykh Abdullah Hakim Quick on Timbuktu:
SubhanAllah! These past few days, I have been really busy. I haven’t gotten a chance to blog or even read blogs. Halal Tube has also been slow in updating. I just added a few lectures a few minutes ago. Dhikr Tube hasn’t been officially launched yet. I haven’t even touched it for weeks. Sports Halaqah is pretty much dead and I’ll probably do the janazah in the coming weeks. It’ll be re-focused to marketing Muslim sport leagues in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and the rest of the non-Muslim world. I also have another major ground-breaking idea for the Muslim online ummah. I can’t give out any details, but all I can say is it’s ground-breaking and very different from anything out there.
Heads up for all those who live in the DC-MD area. If you live around there, please let me know of any active Muslim communities.
Duas are requested from all those who read this. May Allah (swt) accept your duas. Ameen!
Nintendo Wii – 3D Gaming!

Nintendo better meet with Johnny Lee and start developing this technology for the market! I have a Nintendo Wii and I’m a big fan of it. I can’t wait to see the potential it has!
In a radical change to its financial aid program, Stanford University will announce today that it will no longer charge tuition to students whose families earn less than $100,000 a year.In addition, the university will waive room and board fees for students whose families earn less than $60,000 a year.
University President John Hennessy will make the announcement today on campus, university Provost John Etchemendy confirmed late Tuesday.
So if your family makes less than $100,000 a year or even less than $60,000 and you want to go to Stanford University, then I highly suggest you apply!
Houston Respects Islam and Honors Hakeem Olajuwon
- Filed under: America, Basketball, News

Organizers said they worked hard to ensure that the monument complied with Olajuwon’s Islamic beliefs. Rockets spokesman Nelson Luis told The Associated Press that details about the monument had not been released.Houston television station KRIV reported that it would focus on his jersey and accomplishments, but in keeping with the tenets of his Muslim faith, it won’t include a picture or likeness of him.
Alhamdulillah. “Hakeem the dream” was one of the greatest NBA players of all time. May Allah (swt) bless him and his family and accept their good needs rewarding them with jannat-ul-firdaus.

Excellent speech by Barack Obama:
“I’ve seen how politics can be used to make us afraid of each other and how we turn on each other. How fear can cloud our judgement. And Suddenly we start scapegoating gay people or immigrants or people who don’t look like us or Muslims, because our own lives aren’t going well.”
InshaAllah he becomes the next president!
