If you are a Muslim, then I am very disappointed and saddened that a Muslim brother with extensive knowledge of FTP and server connections would use it for the wrong. Hacking is the way of Shaytan. We, Muslims are higher than this. We do not encourage acts of hacking. It is completely forbidden in Islam. It is equal to theft. Websites are online properties and for a person to enter the property without the owner’s permission is forbidden in Islam.
Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said, “Permission (for entering the house) should be sought three times and if permission is granted to you (then get in). otherwise go back.” (Sahih Bukhari)
From this saying of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) we can see clearly that entering a home, property, etc. without any acknowledgment or permission it is forbidden.
Please forgive me brother/sister ‘Ghost61′ from Turkey if I have offended you, but this was the only way to contact you, since you did not leave an email address or any type of private contact where I could give you this naseeha in private.

The content was unaffected during the attack. In other words, he entered the MR house and broke the front door but left everything inside.
Sorry you fell prey to some wanker’s misguided efforts. May I suggest that you make a post about the general security principles involved in this breach, ways you tightened your security (obvious stuff, of course, nothing that would further compromise your sites), and tips to other bloggers website owners out there who just may have their pants down right now?

i think personally that there was more good than evil in your encounter with Ghost61.
1) Showed you some security issues in your site; you could fixem, kinda like a whitehat hacker.
2) Nothing really substantial happened…just a message i believe, and your site being down for some time.
3) You got a good opportunity to make cyber-dawah, and who knows-maybe you changed something in this group–nb: i really don’t think this was the work of one person; probably a team.
So overall, alhamdulillah, worse could’ve happened.

I know someone who has been hacked by this guy and he put up obscene material regarding child pornography and horse sex. He is maliscous, disgusting and disturbed.
The effect of what he did is that the site he hacked lost it’s google natural listings which has severely affected the owner who is not a big business person but someone trying hard to make an honest wage.
So no good comes from what this guy does and whether he is Muslim, Christian, Seek or whatever he is a waste of space. If there is one thing worse than a petty hacker it’s a petty hacker that tries to tell you he’s doing you a favour. Let’s hope he is really a ghost and might one day just dissapear.
If you’re really sorry, then try stopping your “brother,” we’d appreciate it. He’s only making the muslims seem more worse off anyways.

If you have any doubts as to whether this guy is a poor representation of the Muslim community, just look at the avatar he leaves when he hacks your site: it’s an animal carry an AK-47, who just blew apart a video monitor. It’s pure cyber-terrorism, regardless of race, creed or even intention. He left this message on my site in some language I can’t even recognize. I’m going to report him to Homeland Security:

The attack is made on the template. I got mine down on the template BEEZ, the index.php was modified with malicious javascript.
Simply access the /administrator page, logs in and change your template to another one, and delete the infected template.
