Street Fighter 4

Second to Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter has been one of the most popular 2-player fighting games in the 80s-90s. It’s a classic game that only people between the ages of 20 and 35 had the privilege of playing during their childhood years.

Capcom plan on releasing Street Fighter IV in 2009 for PS3 and Xbox 360. Classic characters like Ryu, Blanca, and others will return as well as new characters.

  1. Baba – You are either below the age of 20 or above the age of 35. Street Fighter is a classic game. Everyone that was born between 1973 to 1988 has played, or watched people play, this game. Street Fighter to 2-player fighting game is like Kareem Abdul Jabbar to the NBA.

  2. Man this is so true. I know people who absolutely stink at video games. Like you wouldn’t believe! But you put a street fighter in front of them….man they’ll just own you!

  3. I can’t wait for this game to come out, I been playing Street Fighter all the way back on the Super Nintendo version.

  4. As a fan of the series, I’m so glad that Capcom FINALLY pay attention to Street Fighter fans and is developing an ACTUAL new game to the series, after re-releasing oh so many old Street Fighter titles with additional names to it (STREET FIGHTER ZERO 2 ALPHA REMIX UPPER WHATEVER…). Yeah, the old days…

SFIV is actually a sequel to SFII, right before the events in SFIII. So technically, storyline-wise, this is STREET FIGHTER 2.5 (or something to that effect).

Though I have to disagree with you on one thing. SF is not second to MORTAL KOMBAT, it’s the other way around… πŸ˜‰

  5. yeaaa sfiv! the old characters are good, but the new characters dont look so exciting. cant wait to ownsome ppl in it.
