Ray Allen & the Celtics – 2008 NBA Champions

The Lakers were completely crushed by the Celtics who are now the 2008 NBA Champions. Ray Allen by himself thrashed the Lakers with 3 after 3 in the 4th quarter. KG and Paul Pierce also dominated offensively. Rajon Rando was the defensive player of the game for the Celtics with over 6 steals.
The game is not even over and I’m writing this post. Anyways, let’s go Knicks 2009?

If the Lakers hit 13 3 pointers in the last 2:20, they’ll win by 1 pt.
It’s possible.
oh man, they deserved it. Lakers need bynum next year. Lakers and celtics will be tough for sure next year. Not sure about knicks though!!!! they got way too many guards! Bulls might be another factor as well. who knows whats 09 is hiding for us.
The Lakers definitely did not deserve to win. There was no fight. In the Wired coverage right after halftime, Phil Jackson raised his voice a bit, urging his team forward, something we didn’t see all series. The Lakers simply played terrible defense and had no sense of urgency. When you couple that with tight defense, a great home crowd, a potent offense, and 3 all stars, it’s not a good combination for the Lakers. Congratulations to Celtics fans, it was well deserved. Hats off to Boston.
Peace and love

yo MR , you’se a funny dude, first you talking about LA Championship n’all that, now you talking bout the knicks…
anyways, in the end, what’s important is that we take the game for what it is, a game…may Allah guide these NBA players…..
Where’s the integrity so much for the comeback eh…
I’m glad things turned out this way. I love the lakers, and I am definitely their big time fan, especially Phil Jackson, but Kobe was starting to get really arrogant, he’s the worst teammate ever (except in the finals, maybe). Paul Pierce, KG, and Ray Allen seriously deserved this victory, along with the whole defensive line-up.
Maybe now Kobe will realize he needs to get his attitude in check.
I want to see either the celtics have a 3-peat win over the next while, or for the lakers to win the next year championship sealing Phil Jackson’s triumph as the best NBA coach ever with the most won championships.
Avsy – I was rooting for the Lakers, but I’m a Knicks fan. The Knicks were clearly not in the Finals. It was either Lakers or Celtics. I went with the underdog, Lakers. Now that the finals its the start of the next new season. So let’s go Knicks! (Even though they need some major changes.)
no worries MR, I was just teasin’ anyway..
