Khalid Blankinship specializes in early Islamic history and is the director of graduate studies in the Religion Department of Temple University.
Zaid Shakir is a resident scholar at Zaytuna Institute in Berkeley and writes and speaks frequently about issues pertaining to Muslims and Islam.
