My thoughts on Michael Jackson’s death

The Angel of Death has come for the King of Pop.

Next stop: us.

Are we ready?

The sahabahs (companions of the Prophet – peace be upon him and his companions) are here:

jannatul-baqi

We’re going there too!

Can’t fit much except for your body wrapped with cloth.

May Allah forgive us all and guide us all.

Wait, are those graves of sahabah? Why there are no shrines and tombs?

The Messenger of Allah (salla Allahu alaihy wa salam) said:” akthiru dhikri haadhimi alladhaat. ” or as He (salla Allahu alaihy wa salam)said.
which means : rememmber much the destroyer of worldly pleasures(death). let us leave the people of this world to it , and follow the steps of those who turned their desire to the hearafter.

The Saudis got rid of all the tombstones to prevent people from grave worshiping. A bunch of the shia imams are buried there as well. It’s located directly next to Masjid Nabwi in Madinah.

    َQuoting Suyuufi:

The first productive insight I’ve seen about this incident.

You stole my words borther. Thanks.

Alhamdulillah…this is a good reminder for us all.

I bear witness there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

Yo testifico que no hay ninguna deidad digno de adoración excepto Alá, y testimonio de que Muhammad es el mensajero de Alá.

thumbs up @ al-suyuufi, but let’s be a little more respectful of the “shia” imams (ra) and follow by mentioning rahimAllah behind their names or referal. They can be considered “imams” or religious leaders as they were well educated in the fold of Islam. But let’s not stray and begin to worship them. This is understandably why the headstones were removed.
