This is why I visit this blog at least once a day.

Unlike a lot of other "Muslim blogs" out there, this is one of the few that offers non-sectarian information while still remaining true to Islamic values.

Reading some other Muslim blogs, you'd think the entire American Muslim community was splitting at the seams and ready to draw guns at each other.

The truth is, we're more united than we appear. Perhaps we don't have a definitive leader or leadership structure, and we certainly have our issues. But over all, I believe the American Muslim community will become more learned, more unified, and Inshallah, more influential.

Hopefully, this Zaytuna Institute will be a part of that improvement and I hope it graduates and trains many future learned Muslims.

We still have our work cut out for us though. There are still those who make a living slandering Islam (Daniel Pipes, Steve Emerson et al) and much of the country has no idea what Islam truly is.

But with people like Shaikh Hamza, Imam Zaid, Imam Siraj, and others, Inshallah that will change.
