A young man named Fahad Hashmi wakes up in an eerily silent cell, banned from the social interactions of people, deprived from the natural light of the sun, and meticulously monitored at every moment of the day. Imagine living like this for one week— one month— or three years! Sadly, this is the reality of several Muslims who are imprisoned in the United States under the so-called banner of ‘fighting terrorism.’

The Prophet (salallahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Whoever relieves a believer of a hardship from the hardships of this world, then Allah will relieve him of a hardship from the hardships of the Day of Resurrection…Allah is helping the servant as long as the servant is helping his brother, ” [Hadith Tirmidhi /Muslim].

Now it your turn to make a difference; it is your turn to relieve your brothers and sisters of their distress. Contribute whatever you’re capable of giving in order to assist in freeing your brethren from their current state of solitude and torture.

Make a contribution at this webinar for the sake of your Lord and join the efforts of Muslim Justice Initiative!

I think it’s unfortunate how MM approaches these sensitive matters. They always seem to defend the accused and not delve into the real faults the accused may have. I don’t respect MM anymore because they make us look like we’re terrorist sympathizers. While we oppose the injustice of governments, we shouldn’t be blind to our own injustice. But that’s what MM unfortunately promotes.

Apparently someone has been busy writing against MM on this blog:
