Taking a Leak Sunnah Style

Seriously, don’t read this sisters.  Seriously!
EDIT: Okay, so I guess if sisters want to read it, they can go ahead.

Anyways brothers, I’ve added some comedic relief to my comments, so here it goes:

subject Greetings! 408007

Dear Sameer:

It’s so nice to hear from you again. Thank you for your continued interest in The Cheesecake Factory! To answer your question, several of our cheesecakes do contain animal gelatin. The majority of those use beef gelatin, however two varieties do contain pork gelatin: our 30th Anniversary Chocolate Cake Cheesecake and our Lemoncello Cream Torte.

As with most high end pastries and desserts, we have chosen products containing gelatin over products containing a host of gums and artificial additives. Gelatin is not added directly to any of our desserts, rather it is a sub ingredient in one of the essential ingredients in these cakes. The amount would be considered trace.

We continue to search for and test ingredients that contain neither, however at this time a suitable substitution has not been found. In the interim, I have provided a list below for our cakes which do contain animal gelatin. I hope that this information is helpful and will allow you to continue to enjoy our wonderful desserts.

Original Cheesecake
Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake
Cherry Cheesecake
Brownie Sundae Cheesecake
Godiva Cheesecake
Vanilla Bean Cheesecake
Kahlua Cocoa Coffee Cheesecake
Key Lime Cheesecake
Dulce De Leche Caramel Cheesecake
Low Carb Cheesecake
Dutch Apple Caramel Streusel
White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut Cheesecake
Wild Blueberry White Chocolate Cheesecake
Ultimate Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake
Hershey’s Chocolate Bar Cheesecake
Lemoncello Cream Torte
30th Anniversary Chocolate Cake Cheesecake

Got this in an email:

Thank you for your interest in The Cheesecake Factory. About half of our cheesecakes contain beef gelatin. None of our desserts that we serve in our restaurants contain pork gelatin. The following cheesecakes contain beef gelatin:

Brownie Sundae Cheesecake
Godiva Cheesecake
Vanilla Bean Cheesecake
Kahlua Cocoa Coffee Cheesecake
Key Lime Cheesecake

So for the Muslim meat only eaters, the above cheesecakes can’t be in your stomach, but if you take the “AK” way (eating from the ahlul kitab aka people of the book) then continue to enjoy your cheesecakes.

I love cheesecake!

EDIT: For those who don’t know of the two opinions, please see it here.

Salah gone wrong…

This is hilarious. I have no idea what is going on but I have a theory. The beggar is non-Muslim, because if he was a Muslim, he’d be praying (at least I’d hope so). The beggar is trying to benefit from the generosity of Muslims, especially the ones who come to the Masjid for prayer. They would be the most generous. The first brother who comes late to the salah gives the beggar some money. The second brother does not and faces the punishment of being tripped by the beggar, which causes a domino effect to completely obliterate the entire line of brothers in prayer.

Is this staged? Possibly. Is this for real? Allah knows best.

I just think it’s funny. Hahaha!

This is the first peek in to G2: Return of the Lota. As everyone expected, one of the many scenes that G2 will feature is the Halal Mixtape 2 scene, and this is the video for the song “SunnahBack”, one of the parody songs from the Halal Mixtape 2. This song is about how we need to get our sunnah on in our lives. Enjoy this video and remember, this isn’t a real song, we’re just acting, and its comedy, with a message! Enjoy!

So I got an email which linked to this blog post here on the WorkHalal.com blog saying Costco sells Halal lamb. At first, I didn’t believe it, because for some reason whenever I see emails/blog-posts without sourcing to any website makes it seem shady. So I consulted my Shaykh (Sh. Google) and he gave me wonderful responses, mashaAllah! I found the Australian Lamb Company‘s website and I contacted them myself. I received two responses from two different people:
